Directions
Cook beef, green pepper, celery, onion, chili powder, pepper over medium heat until beef is well browned, stirring to break up meat.Â
Pour off fat
Transfer to large kettle, add tomato juice and vinegar
Bring to a slow boil, reduce heat, cover & simmer for 30 minutes or as long as you like...
Add beans the last 1/2 hour
Top with sour cream, green onions, cheese, diced tomato, if desired

1 - 1 1/2 pound lean ground beef1 large onion (3-4 tablespoons onion flakes)*(1 large green pepper, chopped)*(4 stalks celery, chopped)* 1/4 teaspoon red pepper* 1 teaspoon oreganosalt to taste (1 tsp.)2 tablespoons chili powder1/4 teaspoon black pepper1 can (46oz.) tomato juice1 teaspoon vinegar3 can beans (Chili beans, rinsed and drained Kidney beans, Great Northern Beans)*Optional but good!
