Directions
Mix applesauce, egg and butter together.
Stir in flour, sugar, salt, soda, & cinnamon until just blended
Fold in nuts, if desired
Bake in 8' x 4' greased loaf pan for 1 hour at 350 or us 3 sm greased loaf pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool in pans for 10 minutes
Turn out and cool on rack
Wrap and freeze or refridgerate.
*Topping: optional, if you wish to make a dessert loaf.
TOPPING:
- - 3/4 cup brown sugar
- - 3/4 cup flour
- - 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- - 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- - 1/2 cup chopped pecans - chopped medium fine

- 1/2 tsp baking soda
